We headed up to Mount Hood for a Snow day - it was really nice & Max loved the snow.

We enrolled Max into a program that starts little ones out on a "survival" skill for water. They initially get a blue ribbon for being able to go under the water, flip onto their back, and float for at least 10 seconds without any assistance. Here are pictures of him doing that. He did it after about 3 weeks - he goes 2 times a week for 1/2hr times. EXCITING news is - that he just did his "superfloat" which is fully clothed - they jump in totally clothed, have to flip over, & float for at least 5 minutes - without him being able to see me/anyone. - he is doing GREAT - he is quit the waterdog & loves to go swimming.

PS - they only allow pictures this one time - & offer an under water video taping everyonce inawhile only through them.
