January 18th

Daddy watches the little man - while mommy is off at work for a few hours (Max has not been real impressed with the whole mama being gone - but he does OK for a couple of hours & then the last 2-3 hours he is pretty much high maintenance for dada)... But it is only 2-3 days a week & we have introduced some rice cereal & fruits, so that also helps - but mommy is still the main source - but we are making it work.

January 17, 2007 - SNOW DAY!!

Max had his 6 month check up today. Besides seeming still traumitized from last week being at the hospital - all went well. He weighed in at 19pds 13oz, was 27inches, and about an 18 head. In weight & head he is the 90th percentile & the length is 50-75 percentile(for whatever that is worth). He got 4 shots which he pretty much screamed through - BUT - Dr says he is very healthy AND.... we were given the green light to add in some rice cereal, applesauce, & banannas to his diet. He seems to LOVE eating (shocking - just like his papa) & we got a video of his first bits

January 9th

Grandpa(Macy's Dad) buys Max the cutest Bomber jacket - we just couldn't pass it up - little big right now -but before you know it, it will fit perfect

January 5th

Max gets a new High Chair - & his new outfit

Jan. 3rd, Max & I have an accident (Thankfully we are both OK)

While going to visit my Baby & Me group - I was carrying Maxwell & was on the sidewalk which becomes small due to a 1/2 brick wall (see picture). When I went to adjust for the smallness of it, there are 4 seems that come together & I lost my balance & we both went down very hard. Max's head hit the brick wall.... call it luck(or unlucky) that we were actually at the hospital. I had fortunately also had a very thick heavy blanket over his head that I/we believe helped to reduce the hit. I was hysterical as well. Preston arrived at the hospital in what seemed to be only a few short minutes -Max checked out immediatly fine & then he had a CAT scan which showed that all was fine and well. A VERY SCARY moment for us. I have heard it said that usually a parent will one time fall with their baby(and be a bad fall) - someone was watching out for us.

December 26th

Max is tuckered out from all the Festivities of the weekend - he finally takes a good nap

Christmas Eve Day

We trekked to Corvallis for the Bishop Christmas Celebration on Saturday the 23rd and stayed the night. We spent a nice morning chatting with G.grma, G. gpa, & Gpa - then we went out to visit the Martin Clan & see there house

Big Storm day - December 14

Well -we lost power for about 5 hours - blustery storm! Max & I hung out with hurricane lamps, using Preston's laptop for entertainment until the battery died. (Preston had bowling)
